Key Account Manager - Scotland
Job Description
As we continue our grow journey, we are look to strengthen our sales team and are recruiting for a Key Account Manager on a full-time, permanent basis in Scotland. Working within the sales team, this role is responsible for managing and nurturing the key accounts within their territory.
By pro-actively managing their diverse portfolio, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is driven by high quality products and solutions, as well as customer satisfaction. With a strong focus on face-to-face interaction, this role include travel throughout our territory to actively grow sales and build customer relationships.
This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, has a passion for customer experience while driving sales and is looking for a rewarding career.
Duties include:
- • Set up and manage all Business Development activities in your region.
- • Increase the number of enquiries / bids submitted by the company.
- • Manage existing accounts and expand our product & service offering.
- • Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline and ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately documented and kept up to date in CRM.
- • Effectively manage all clients by providing timely responses and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries.
- • Adapt, manage and prioritise effectively based upon changing priorities for self and team.
- • Prepare and deliver presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict a clients’ future needs.
- • Foster strong relationships by regular attendance at relevant networking events, site meetings and general account management.
- • Seek and develop new customers and markets.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- A self-starter and at ease in a team environment.
- Flexible with a determined and ambitious mindset to sales.
- Experience of managing client accounts.
- Industry background and a proven successful track record in related products is desirable.
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
